Artist's Statement

I conducted a poetry contest and asked 15 people to write a poem. Mariam Baig's Swingset was the winner. I thought Swingset had really good imagery and diction. This project had a great outcome, many people who wrote the poems had never written a poem before and they all turned out pretty well.
